Andrew Dragoumis is an American investment banker, financier, and film producer based in New York. After earning his graduate degree from the University of Chicago, he spent over 25 years advising and financing governments and private companies in emerging markets across Latin America, Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
Why I Support #StandWithHer
A longtime advocate for social causes and economic initiatives, Andrew has focused on improving the lives of people in developing and transitional countries. In 2014, he began producing documentaries to shed light on critical social issues that deserve greater attention.
What I Hope to Achieve
I grew up in the greater Washington, D.C., area and was deeply influenced by the strong women in my family. I hope this campaign moves us toward a world where fairness, justice, and civil liberties are not dependent on race, gender, geography, or any other identity marker. A world where “masculinity” and “feminism” no longer spark division or debate but are seen as complementary forces that coexist harmoniously because both men and women play an equal role in shaping a strong and compassionate society.
